100 word story

“Should we go for a walk Walter?” asked John. The statue nodded, they stood up. They strolled towards the park. Walter was John's friend nobody knew about, so whenever someone saw him he would have to freeze. The park was usually not busy so they didn't have to worry about people seeing Walter as much. They sat under a tree for lunch. John unpacked some sandwiches and they ate them. Then they carried on walking. Suddenly they heard a voice, it said, “Could you tell me the time ?” they stopped dead in their tracks. A boy had seen them...

    Tino pai tau mahi! (great work) I liked the way you used great punctuation and vocabs in your story.
    This reminds me of my friend she has amazing vocab and uses punctuation in her stories.
    Who gave you the idea to do the 100 word challenge?
    Next time you should try do 200 or 500 word challenge.
